This documentary shares heartfelt stories from people of diverse backgrounds, including architect and entrepreneur Julia Barfield, British actors David Harewood and Russell Tovey, singer/songwriter Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Unified Heavyweight World Champion Oleksandr Usyk. Together, they reflect on the evolution of London and the London Eye over the past twenty-five years.

Yorkshire 1997: a cold, windswept rural countryside. Middle-child Mathilde and her two siblings are playing house. Mathilde has to play the Dog and she hates it. But any challenge to the social order is met with punishment. The parents are distracted, emotionally wrapped up in themselves. The kids are all eachother has, but that doesn’t make them friends. A single moment between the two sisters almost changes everything and Mathilda is forced to be brave in the face of emotions she doesn’t understand.

Unfettered by the flow of time; twisting darkness out of light; these "black and midnight hags" cast their spell.
